[ About ]

I'm Kenny, a frontend developer from Los Angeles.

I currently work for Bondfire Inc. as a software engineer building brand-focused e-commerce and marketing experiences.

I do some additional consulting work for the non-profit Start Small Think Big, alongside a crew of engineers focused on developing features uniquely designed to serve SSTB's growing list of clients, volunteers and community partners. Thanks to the contributions of everyone involved, the web portal we've been building has placed Start Small Think Big as a finalist in MIT’s Truist Inspire Awards.

Prior to entering tech, I worked in the music industry for many years as an A&R, audio engineer, and producer. When I first learned to code, the tinkering aspect reminded me a lot of my experience in recording studios — the primary difference being that debugging wasn't limited to the digital space, but often extended out into pieces of hardware scattered about the studio and patched into the system.

I use the following technologies most frequently but I am always eager to experiment and learn new skills.

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • Javascript
  • React
  • Next JS
  • Alpine JS
  • Tailwind
  • Sanity
  • Shopify / Liquid
  • Astro

Outside of being a developer, I am also a guitarist, music producer, pool player, hobby coder, and golfer. I enjoy science fiction, video games, fishing and camping. I love being a dad to my daughter and going on adventures with my wife.
